John Schroeder

John Schroeder is a Partner in Critical Path Advisor's Full-Service HR & Operations group. He previously serving as a highly accomplished Chief Human Resources Officer with more than 20 years of executive-level success in Human Resources, payroll, benefits and recruiting. He is skilled at managing high level complex strategy issues as well as the day-to-day operations of HR. John’s industry experience spans the entertainment, government, financial, and public accounting sectors. His areas of expertise include compliance, risk mitigation, budgeting and finance, contract administration, career development and cultivating a culture of engagement for employees. John understands how a positive corporate culture is critical to a company’s success and he has played a critical role across multiple companies engaging employees to perform better.
John’s excellence in HR was recognized in 2014 when he was nominated by the San Fernando Business Journal for the area’s “Best Human Resources Person.” He holds two certifications in HR, the SHRM-SCP and the SPHR, a Master’s degree from Emory University, where he studied in the Honors Program, and a BA from Hendrix College, where he graduated with Distinction. He also has studied Labor and Employment Law at Emory University School of Law. |
Patrick Kelley

Patrick Kelley is a Partner in Critical Path Advisor's Cybersecurity group. He is an Information Management and Security veteran with 20 years of experience in the field. His initial research into security was conducted in 1995 with efforts of hardening mixed heterogeneous environments. He has found numerous exploits in industry-leading security products, including Sourcefire, Cisco, Apple, Pandora, and Websense. His research of corporate network exploitation using employee-owned mobile devices is cited in many industry publications and was considered as a paradigm shift in enterprise security. He has spoken at Splunk Conf., RSA, Secure IE, ESI San Diego, and DEFCON. His research has been covered by FORTUNE, CNN, The Guardian, Globe and Mail, and Krebs Security Online. Further, he has worked extensively in the utilities and transportation sectors, including Canada as well.

Glenn Holzmacher
|
Glenn Holzmacher is a Partner in Critical Path Advisor's Cybersecurity group. Glenn joined Critical Path Advisors as a Practice Manager in 2014 and brings with him fifteen years of experience in the human resources software & services industry. He is currently heading up the engineering and development of our software solutions, which provide game changing oversight and efficiencies for large multinationals.
In his most recent position at Sapien Software he served as the VP of Product Development and was responsible for delivering many of the best received products and features for several key clients, including MetLife, InfoPrint Solutions (IBM RICOH), Capital One and Verizon Wireless. Prior to joining Sapien, Glenn served as Network Administrator, Webmaster and SQL database administrator at HRSoft LLC. He has also designed and implemented several web based applications including a Customer Service Portal for Organon Pharmaceutical prior to joining HRSoft. In addition to his professional experience Glenn graduated at the top of his class from The Chubb Institute and holds a number of professional certifications. |
Stephen Usher

Stephen Usher is a Partner in Critical Path Advisor's Technology Advisory group. Stephen is an experienced analyst, solutions architect and software engineer with a strong delivery focus. Stephen is passionate about technology and has worked on solutions in a number of different languages and technologies with a primary focus on web and mobile. Stephen has designed and developed end-to-end solutions in a wide variety of markets including HR, global payroll, finance, insurance and gaming.
Stephen’s passion for all things ‘computer’ started at a young age and have given him a broad experience and understanding of not only software but networking and infrastructure - Stephen is just as happy making up a patch cable as he is designing and building software for multi-national financial institutions. Stephen’s passion for agile methods, ability to understand requirements and visualise solutions has helped clients deliver the benefit of the right solution ahead of time. Stephen is a strong believer in “succeed early” - prioritise requirements to deliver viable, beneficial solutions as soon as possible. |

Will is a Partner of in Critical Path Advisors' Benefits Advisory practice. Will’s priority is to deliver innovative benefit solutions in an ever changing landscape of options. Using the latest available technology and first-hand knowledge, Will strives to provide results that can reduce both the cost and time historically required from employers, while still delivering second to none benefits and service to employees.
Will is a licensed agent in Health, Life, Accident, Property and Casualty Insurance and specializes in group benefits for businesses of all sizes — even those as small as two employees. In addition to focusing his energy on meeting the specialized needs of his clients, his typical benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, paid family leave, short and long term disability. Will graduated Carnegie Mellon University with a B.S in Economics and Policy & Management in 2004. |
Michelle Brown

Michelle is a Partner in Critical Path Advisor's Benefits Advisory group. She brings with her 15 years of experience in the insurance industry. In the early part of her career, she worked at a TPA (Third Party Administrator) which has provided her a strong background in helping clients with the growing complexity of plan options. Most of her career has been focused on serving the group benefits market with a focus on delivering exemplary client service, both to the business owner and to employees. She also has extensive experience providing specialized solutions to clients with unique needs.
Michelle holds licensing in Health, Life and Accident. She works with businesses of all sizes to develop customized programs with the specific goals of the client in mind. These objectives vary, including cost containment, talent acquisition/retention, improving employee education, and increasing overall satisfaction, among others. She also specializes in aiding celebrity and other high net worth clients with their nuanced needs. Michelle graduated from Boston University in 2000 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology. Go Terriers! In her spare time, she enjoys quilting with her mom, vacationing in non-beach locales, and playing with her two 80 lb. lap dogs. |
